Kehoe Animal Clinic in Viera is thrilled to present this opportunity to work in a well-respected 2 doctor veterinary practice - in a new building! We are looking for a part time associate veterinarian who is willing to work 2 days during the week. If you are looking for something new with a rewarding environment, this could be the role for you! We have outstanding relationships with our community and clientele, and we believe in quality of life and work balance.
Core functions:
Communicating with clients
Ability to collaborate with the team
Time management
Examine, diagnose, and treat animals
Determine best course of treatment for patients
Vaccinate animals to prevent diseases
Patience and love for animals
Our ideal candidate will need:
DVM degree or equivalent from an accredited university
Active Florida state license
Proficiency in general medicine and surgical experience preferred
Physical requirements:
Must be able to lift 45lbs or more
Prolonged periods of standing
Ability to sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb
Good hand-eye coordination and arm-hand dexterity
Job Type: Part-time
Expected hours: 20 per week
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
Ability to Relocate:
- Melbourne, FL 32940: Relocate before starting work (Required)
